MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers on Monday, the weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of frontal system.
Light rains will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands, and isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Abra and Benguet due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon and the eastern section of central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
